HOME SWEET HOME
For five years getting a permanent foothold in the San Fernando Valley has been Ride On’s number one strategic priority and on May 8th we achieved just that. Ride On is proud to announce that we closed escrow on a new, permanent ranch site in Chatsworth that we can finally call home. This achievement is not only important for Ride On but for the entire community — a permanent therapeutic riding center is here to stay and will serve generations to come.
The 3 acre site is located in Chatsworth off Topanga Canyon Boulevard with beautiful views of the Santa Susana Mountains and Stoney Point. We will build the property from the ground up allowing us to design a well thought out and functional facility which will take into consideration the needs of the disabled, our horses our volunteers and our families.
Spearheaded by the McQueeney Family Challenge, so many people have worked so very hard to raise funds to inch us toward this goal and we would like to thank each and everyone.
The challenge is to now maximize the possibilities and we will need continued, strong financial support to develop the site to it’s maximum potential. Ride On is committed to providing generations of service to the San Fernando Valley and welcoming individuals with disabilities to our home...sweet home.
