Alex

Instructor

Alex has been involved with equestrian-assisted therapies since 2016 and began teaching at Ride On in 2023. She is currently working toward receiving her CTRI certificate. Being an instructor at Ride On integrates two of Alex's biggest passions—horses and working with children and adults with disabilities. Alex grew up riding English, competed during her junior years, then spent her college and post-college years riding for fun and training her gelding, Indy. Outside of Ride On, Alex is a Regional Clinical Director at an agency providing behavior analytic services to autistic children and adults. She has worked with a variety of different ages and disabilities across the last 8 years, but specializes in autism spectrum disorder. Outside of the barn and work, Alex enjoys spending time with her husband and dog at the beach and nearby trails, in addition to trying new recipes in the kitchen.
