Michelle Younghouse is the Vice President and Chief Procurement Officer at Amgen.  She has over 20 years of experience in Global Sourcing and Procurement across several industries.  At Amgen, she and her team enable the organization to optimize value and reduce external spend through category strategy development, source selection, contracting, negotiations and supplier relationship management. Michelle is also active as a Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging  Sponsor within the CFO organization and an advisor to the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC). Michelle holds degrees in Operations Management and Procurement Management from Bowling Green State University. Michelle is a mother of 2 daughters Lilianna (13) and Giada (11) and has been married to her husband Mark for 20 years.  They have lived in Thousand Oaks for 4 years and enjoy travelling, various sports and outdoor activities together.
