About Gillian
Gillian Sieker
PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor
Gill was a “long distance” horse lover- not having much opportunity to work with them until one day in 2011, when a classmate recommended that she volunteer at the Ride On Chatsworth ranch- that same afternoon she began volunteering. She fell in love with the program, and was finally able to learn to ride thanks to weekly volunteer lessons. Growing up at Ride On she enjoyed showing with the Ride On show team, attending Ride On’s summer camp as a camper- then as a volunteer counselor, and volunteering at fundraising events. She continued to want to be even more involved with the Ride On community, and summer of 2017 she stepped into the arena as soon as she could, eventually certifying as a PATH CTRI in fall of 2017. Gill is still an avid rider, showing up to 2nd level dressage, and aspires to someday soon earn her USDF bronze medal. She jumps into every opportunity she can to learn more about teaching and riding- whether it be grooming at dressage shows, showing with the Ride On show team, attending conferences or auditing riding clinics, and by taking lessons in different riding styles. When not spending time with horses, she can be found experimenting in the kitchen, going camping with her dog Coco, or singing.
