PATH Intl. Advanced Therapeutic Riding Instructor
Megan is a distinguished equestrian professional with over two decades of experience in adaptive riding and dressage. Certified through the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH) since 2003, she has taught at Ride On for 20 years, also serving as a PATH Advanced Instructor and Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor (CTRI). She volunteered for 5 years prior to joining the Ride On team. Megan has earned the US Dressage Federation Gold Medal and is a Certified Silver level Para-dressage Coach. She managed the horse operations for the Special Olympics World Games, showcasing her expertise in event management. Megan graduated from UC Santa Barbara, earning a BS in Environmental Studies with Highest Honors in 2007, followed by a JD from Berkeley Law in 2011. In 2024 she is Adjunct Faculty at Cal State Channel Islands teaching Environmental Law and Policy. She also runs Jasper Ridge Sporthorses LLC, a successful horse training business she founded 12 years ago. Megan's career reflects her commitment to adaptive riding, legal expertise, and a passion for equestrian sports.
